Manor Farm is a great place to spend some fantastic family time - enjoy the house and grounds but do explore a little further afield for family fun and adventures.

The sun never sets on fun and good times at Sundown Adventureland and you can all have a ball at Bawtry Paintball Fields (hot baths and showers await back at Manor Farm!), whilst Magna Science Adventure Park brings the history of steelmaking in the region to vibrant and fascinating life - and also explores the wonders of science and technology in four themed pavilions - Earth, Air, Fire and Water.

Or, you can head outdoors to enjoy Yorkshire Wildlife Park, a superb example of conservation and animal welfare.

One thing is for sure, there are plenty of places to create great family memories close to Manor Farm.

Sundown Adventureland

Sundown has grown so much over the years and now sees nearly quarter of a million guests every year!

Before the park opened for admissions Mr and Mrs Rhodes kept chickens, bread dogs and sold local produce to their neighbours and to this day still use local neighbours and businesses within the park.

The site keeps growing with new attractions and themed areas and they have great plans in the pipeline to keep loyal guests coming back year after year.

Magna Science Adventure Centre

Magna Science Adventure Centre is a hands-on experience, packed with interactive exhibits and fascinating displays. Explore the wonders of Science and Technology in our four pavilions – Air, Earth, Fire and Water.

Splash in water, operate a real JCB, marvel at a fire tornado and even explode a rock face! Magna is a coats-on experience set in the former world famous Templeborough steelworks. Our thundering Big Melt Show and Face of Steel bring the story of steelmaking to life. The fun continues outside with our huge adventure playground and summertime splash park.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Built on a former riding school and farm, Yorkshire Wildlife Park has come along way since it opened in April 2009.

A dynamic centre for conservation and welfare, the park has over 400 animals and over 70 different species of animal.

Their mission is to create a dynamic, interactive experience and regional centre of excellence for the conservation of biodiversity globally and locally that is sustainable both for the environment and the business. To promote a wider understanding of the natural world and inspire generations to support and protect the world around them.

Go Ape Sherwood

Go Ape Sherwood packs a punch with four brilliant outdoor adventures to get stuck into. Be prepared for some serious speed on the Challenge course where the tandem zip wire speedometer can hit 20 mph.

Kids are spoilt for choice with a Treetop Adventure course and one of the only two Nets Adventures in the UK. Decisions, decisions. Bounce in the clouds or climb up to the clouds?! If you love to go off-road, hop on to one of our all-terrain Segways and explore the varied terrain and beautiful woodlands. Focus on your own goals, as you climb, swing, and charge through this particularly challenging set of high ropes obstacles.

Tackle each individual crossing in your own unique way to see who reaches the finish line first. Expect high platforms and higher speeds on the brilliant final shared zip. An adjustable difficulty level means this course will always feel fresh, you can come back time and time again for another bold new experience.

The Tourmament Ground

All of the activities are delivered with a full safety briefing and our qualified staff always check that you are operating the equipment safely. They have equipment for tall and small as well as left and right handers. Everything is run with a competitive streak and is done with the aim of leaving a smile on your face.

Join one of the Zombie Apocalypse Training Experiences and they will teach you all of the skills that you need to survive! Armed with bows, blades and air rifles, their two hour experience will leave you prepared to tackle any zombie apocalypse that comes your way. Once you have had your initial training with each weapon, you will be given the chance to use your newly aquired skills to compete with your fellow trainee zombie warriors to be the ultimate champion!

Based in Doncaster, Bawtry Paintball & Laser Fields aren’t only the best paintball centre in South Yorkshire, they’re also the biggest and best paintball and outdoor activity centre in the UK!

Set amongst 365 acres of natural woodland in Bawtry Forest, you, your friends and family will tear your way across 16 award-winning game zones to battle for victory. We’ve even got some real movie props, such as real army jeeps, helicopters and choppers to spice up the action! You’ll feel the intense heat of battle as the Predator comes into play – a 7ft tall hunter-warrior who stalks our woods. If he sees you move, he’ll open fire with increased firepower and deadly accuracy!
